The pattern and texture of this window film is laminated on, creating an authentic and visually impressive rice paper screen. This privacy window film has a lower visible light transmittance of around 15%, but thats mostly because of the maximum privacy and ornate pattern that it offers. The R03038 Shoji film is approved for double pane glass, and is used by professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada; but that doesn’t mean you can’t install it yourself, the adhesive back is safe for your glass and easy to install, or remove if you so desire.
